The article introduces an innovative tool for the automatic validation of relational algebra queries piloted in the university course, the "Introduction to Databases." Approximately 170 students actively utilized the tool during practical exercises, homework assignments, and a midterm quiz. The tool enables query writing, execution, and automatic assessment on prepared databases, with a notable emphasis on its Moodle integration. The pilot implementation demonstrated the tool's effectiveness, time-saving benefits in evaluation, and adaptability in grading student solutions. This suggests that the tool represents a significant contribution to enhancing the learning process of relational algebra within computer science and informatics study programmes.
